A new place!

23 January 2013

Gazeta Wyborcza informs that the Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Centre in Lusławice -  a place for concerts, designed for young musicians - was opened.

The inauguration gala scheduled for 21st of May, will be honoured be the presence of a world-renowned violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter. Together, with the stipendists of her own foundation, she will perform Felix Mendelssohn’s “Octet”. There are also many educational – musical projects planned by the Centre. In view of Witold Lutosławski's year celebrations, children and young people from all across the Lesser Poland will have the chance to visit the centre and learn about Polish composers of the 20th century and also see how the music is created.
